Job Description
Summary: CVS Health is dedicated to improving health care access and quality. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective work environment while delivering exceptional care to patients and supporting various pharmacy operations.

Required Qualifications:
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to: Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to: Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Ability to: Lift, scan, and bag items
- Ability to: Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
- Ability to: Reach overhead; able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
- Ability to: Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
- Ability to: Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
- Ability to: Stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items between low and high positions, including bending spine at the waist
- Ability to: Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
- Ability to: Able to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
- Ability to: Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to: Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to: Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
- Ability to: Complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Immunization eligibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Once state regulations are met, pharmacy interns should be striving to provide patient immunizations as this is an essential pharmacist function
