We’re building a world of health around every individual — shaping a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience. At CVS Health®, you’ll be surrounded by passionate colleagues who care deeply, innovate with purpose, hold ourselves accountable and prioritize safety and quality in everything we do. Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.
Oak Street Health®, a part of CVS Health, helps older adults stay healthier and live fuller lives through our 230 centers across 27 states. Our value-based care model helps us consistently deliver better patient experiences and outcomes.
As a Lead Director, Brand and Markeing, you will play a critical role in supporting our Oak Street Health patients, providers and business by leading an agile marketing team that integrates multiple marketing functions – from field marketing strategy to marketing operations and creative services.
The Lead Director will develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies that drive local patient acquisition, oversee the systems and processes that power our campaigns, and ensure all initiatives are compliant with Medicare (CMS) marketing regulations. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally to align marketing with Growth Marketing teams, Outreach, Compliance, Legal, Strategy, and Clinical teams, helping scale Oak Street’s growth and efficiency as we expand our community-focused mission nationwide.
Core Responsibilities:
Field Marketing Support & Execution
Develop and lead Oak Street Health’s field marketing support, driving localized campaigns and community outreach initiatives to increase clinic visibility and brand awareness in each community. Align with field outreach teams and independent agent (IA) partners to coordinate events, local partnerships, and grassroots programs, while ensuring all local marketing activities meet CMS Medicare compliance standards and reflect our brand values.
Field Enablement Programs
Design and implement field enablement programs that empower local outreach and clinic staff with the tools and knowledge to execute marketing initiatives effectively. Develop self-service resources (templates, playbooks, and training modules) and localized marketing kits for field teams, and lead educational sessions to ensure field teams (e.g. OEs, CRMs, RPMs, etc.) are equipped to engage their communities and drive patient growth.
Internal Marketing Store Management
Oversee and continuously improve Oak Street’s internal Marketing Store (field marketing resource center) to ensure field teams have easy access to up-to-date, compliant marketing collateral and promotional items. Manage inventory levels, budgets, and vendor relationships for printed materials and promotional merchandise, maintaining cost efficiency and alignment with procurement standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
Act as a bridge between Marketing and key stakeholders in Compliance, Legal, Outreach, Strategy, and Clinical Leadership. Lead cross-functional planning to ensure all marketing initiatives are well-coordinated, legally compliant, and aligned with Oak Street’s organizational goals.
Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to navigate CMS Medicare marketing guidelines and approvals, maintaining the highest standards of ethical marketing and brand integrity across all field activities.
Marketing Operations Leadership
Provide hands-on leadership for marketing operations, optimizing the tools, systems, and workflows that power Oak Street’s multi-channel marketing efforts. Implement data-driven decision-making by establishing key performance metrics and dashboards to analyze campaign effectiveness and drive continuous improvement, while enforcing process governance to ensure consistency and efficiency in campaign execution as we scale.
Creative Services Oversight
Oversee the Creative Services function to ensure timely development of high-quality marketing assets and campaigns, supporting both national initiatives and local customization needs.
Guide the creative team in producing materials (e.g. flyers, digital content, signage) that can be tailored for local markets, maintaining brand consistency and CMS compliance while meeting the unique needs of each market.
New Center Marketing & Integration
Support new center launches and acquisitions by developing targeted catchments to define geographic outreach zones, and educate new center teams on marketing systems, central support resources, and the provider photography program to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective go-to-market strategies.
