Position Summary
Designs, builds, and maintains the data infrastructure that supports the organization's data-related initiatives. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to ensure the efficient and reliable processing, storage, and retrieval of data. Develops scalable data pipelines, optimizes data workflows, and ensures the quality and integrity of the data.
What you will do
Design scalable and efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
Develop data pipelines that enable efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
Implement data validation and quality checks to identify and address data anomalies or errors.
Design data warehousing and data lake solutions that facilitate data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
Document data engineering processes, workflows, and systems for reference and knowledge-sharing purposes.
Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data.
Identify opportunities to streamline data engineering processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of deliverables.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers to help them develop their technical skills and grow in their roles.
Required Qualifications
2 - 5 years work experience
Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
Adept at collaboration and teamwork
Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
Adept at business intelligence
SSIS Package devlopment and debugging
Experiance in QA testing and scripting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Health Care Industry
Working knowledge of iSuite and Afix.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. Computer Science or Equivalent Years of Relevant Experience

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $144,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
