Job Description
Summary: Customers Bank is a high-performing, digital-forward financial institution committed to innovation, collaboration, and community impact. The internship program offers students hands-on experience in various business areas, including banking, risk, operations, finance, or technology, while working on an AI-focused capstone project and engaging with leaders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to department assignments aligned to business needs
- Analyze data, support process improvements, and assist with research
- Participate in weekly development workshops and executive speaker sessions
- Work with your intern team to tackle an AI-driven business challenge
- Present your final project and insights to senior leadership
- Build meaningful relationships across the bank through networking and team activities
- Participate in meetings with prospective and existing commercial clients, including site visits, client interviews, and credit discussions
- Support the preparation of loan approval materials and contribute to presentations with recommendations to senior credit leaders
- Attend select executive-level strategy and planning meetings in West Reading and New York
- Partner with senior team members to identify opportunities where AI can enhance processes and drive efficiencies
- Gain exposure to special assets and challenged credit situations, supporting discussions around relationship strategy and risk management
- Participate in business development activities, including client events and networking opportunities, and assist with planning and execution
Required Qualifications:
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, current or future, to be considered
- Rising senior (Class of 2027) pursuing a bachelor's degree
- Interest in banking, financial services, business, technology, or analytics
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work full-time for the 10-week summer program
- Authorization to work in the U.S
