Job Description
Summary: Curtiss-Wright Corporation is a global innovative company that delivers highly engineered, critical function products and services. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to work with inspectors ensuring quality products leave the facility and to maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
- Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products
- Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, obtains disposition and implements corrective action as needed
- May interface with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information
- Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary
- Participates in audits
- Working hands on with production and operations
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or aerospace experience
- AS9100
- Assisted in audits
- Understanding QMS program
- Self-motivated/self-starter
- Ability to wear multiple hats to help each other out
- Education - associates or bachelors
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- DCMA-8210 knowledge
- Mechanical or aerospace engineering discipline (bachelors)
- Experience working on aircraft parts and maintenance
Required Skills: AS9100, QMS program
Important Skills: Manufacturing experience, Aerospace experience
