As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play an important leadership role in supporting nursing operations and helping ensure quality care across the facility. This position works closely with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary partners to strengthen care delivery, support staff, and contribute to a well-run clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing nursing operations within the skilled nursing facility to maintain high standards of care.
- Provide on-call support to handle nursing staff issues, patient care concerns, and emergency situations.
- Support the Director of Nursing in staff supervision, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations specific to skilled nursing facilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective care coordination.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Help manage staffing concerns, resources, and documentation accuracy.
- Serve as a clinical and leadership resource for nursing staff during on-call periods.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree.
- Active RN license in Minnesota.
- Experience supervising nursing staff and supporting day-to-day clinical operations.
- Experience handling patient or family concerns with professionalism and sound clinical judgment.
- Experience coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to support effective care delivery.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care facility.
Experience with quality assurance and performance improvement in a skilled nursing setting.
Experience with care coordination in a skilled nursing setting.
Experience with state and federal compliance in a skilled nursing setting.
