They are seeking an Intern Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support to the production floor, purchasing, suppliers, and engineering under general supervision. Responsibilities: - Identifies, develops and implements in house tooling, fixtures and test equipment - Assists with Production Acceptance Test (PAT) generation and implementation - Provides clarification and manufacturing input to engineering design documentation - Researches and solves manufacturing problems both internally and at suppliers - Request corrections to engineering design documentation - Provides review of non-conforming material - Researches and suggests use of alternate parts - Conducts observation and analysis of personnel and work procedures to determine time-and-motion requirements of job duties - Analyzes work-study data and equipment specifications to establish time production standards Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering or related technical degree program - Ability to read and follow basic engineering drawings and technical instructions - Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Required Skills: Engineering degree Important Skills: Read engineering drawings, Manufacturing environment experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Technical instructions Benefits: Benefits
