Product Design Intern, Summer 2026 at Crusoe in San Francisco, CA

Summary: Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence, focusing on AI and sustainable technology. As a Product Design Intern, you will own impactful projects, working collaboratively with other functions to define problems, conduct research, and create design artifacts that guide decision making and execution. Responsibilities: - Own the design from start to finish for AI developers and platform engineers - Identify user and business needs in partnership with product, marketing, and data science - Create sketches, flows, prototypes and high fidelity visuals for your features in Figma - Ensure a high quality implementation by working closely with engineering - Strong ability to iterate through the design process, give and receive critiques and rapidly incorporate feedback Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Design or a closely related field, graduating Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 - A demonstrated baseline in interaction design and visual design skills with a portfolio of work - Background in B2B software, developer platforms or technical tools - An ability to express ideas through design prototyping and code - An eagerness to learn and a demonstrated self-starting initiative Preferred Qualifications: - An interest in design tools and design systems - Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to build great relationships and convey/ debate design rationale - High empathy for the user, striving to understand and empower them - Knowledge or interest in the building blocks of a neo cloud and/or ai developer tools tools Required Skills: Interaction design, Visual design, Prototyping Important Skills: Figma, B2B software Nice-to-Have Skills: User empathy, Collaboration skills, Communication skills, Self-starting initiative Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Access to HealthiestYou and Calm, Paid Holiday and Volunteer Days, Commuter Allowance
