Job Description
Summary: Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence, focusing on AI infrastructure. The Accounting Intern will assist with journal entries, month-end support, reconciliations, and financial reporting during a 12-week in-person program.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing journal entries for cash, expenses, and accounts payable
- Help the team navigate the month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with the reconciliation of AP, Cash, and other accounts as needed
- Help perform monthly flux analysis on assigned General Ledger accounts
- Support the setup of new employees in the expense reimbursement system and monitor internal expense inquiries
- Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting as requested by the team
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field graduating between Fall 2026- Spring 2027
- Familiar with basic accounting concepts and principles (GAAP knowledge is a plus)
- A self-starter with a motivation to learn and drive improvements
- An effective communicator, comfortable working with a widely dispersed team
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficient (or eager to become proficient) in Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables
