Founding Product Manager at Crucibl in San Francisco, CA

Why Crucibl

Management consulting is a $400B industry built on selling intelligence-for-hire. The model is breaking - not slowly, but now. The biggest frontier in enterprise AI isn't better models. It's judgment at scale: taking the messy, ambiguous decisions that run 85% of the global economy and making them faster, crisper, and more defensible.

Crucibl is building that. We are growing fast and delivering for Fortune 500 clients. We raised a $10M seed from Tier 1 VCs - then kept growing on revenue. The client pipeline is full. We're scaling to meet it.

The Role

You've shipped products that mattered — not just shipped features, but made the calls on what to build, why, and for whom. Now imagine doing that with a live Fortune 500 client pipeline giving you daily, high-stakes signal on what the product needs to become.

This is not a traditional PM role at a company still guessing at product-market fit. You'll sit at the intersection of client delivery and product strategy — turning what strategists learn in the field into a roadmap that ships fast, and turning what engineering builds into leverage that changes what delivery can promise clients.

Why Join Now

• The hardest part is done — we have real revenue, Fortune 500 clients, and a clear wedge into a massive market. You're joining to scale a winning hand, not to place a bet.
• Do the work you love, translating ambiguous problems into shipped product, without the parts you don't (bureaucracy, roadmap theater, distance from the customer)
• Shape a category — you're not managing one feature of an established product, you're defining what "AI-native strategy consulting" even means
• Work directly with founders — ex-Google and ex-KKR & ex-BCG who understand both the craft and the technology
• Outsized equity and ownership in a company that's already generating revenue and growing fast

What You'll Do

• Product Strategy: Own the roadmap for our AI agent platform, prioritizing against real client engagements rather than hypothetical use cases
• Client Signal Translation: Work directly with strategists and clients to turn delivery pain points and "we wish it could also do X" moments into concrete product requirements
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner daily with engineering to scope, sequence, and ship — you're close enough to the work to make fast calls, not just write tickets
• Agent Design: Define how our AI agents structure ambiguous business problems, execute analysis, and present recommendations — the product is the analytical framework, not just the interface
• Metrics & Iteration: Define what "good" looks like for an AI-delivered engagement and build the feedback loops to get there faster each time
• Domain Depth: Build real expertise in verticals like CPG, healthcare, financial services, or industrials, so your product decisions reflect what actually matters to clients in each space

You Might Be a Great Fit If

You have the product pedigree.

• 3–7 years in product management, ideally at a company where product decisions had direct, high-stakes business consequences
• Shipped end-to-end, not just supported — you've owned a roadmap, made prioritization calls, and lived with the outcomes
• Experience with AI/ML products, data-heavy products, or enterprise B2B software a strong plus

You want to build in the field, not from a spec doc.

• You want your roadmap shaped by real client conversations, not just a backlog of requests
• You're excited about AI and genuinely curious how these systems reason and fail — you don't need to write the model code, but you should want to understand it
• You want a company where your judgment changes the product, not just the release notes

You thrive in ambiguity.

• You take vague, high-stakes business problems and turn them into concrete product bets
• You make progress without waiting for perfect information
• You communicate proactively — with engineers when scope needs to shift, and with delivery teams when you spot a pattern worth building for
• Bias toward shipping over endless discovery

You're an exceptional communicator.

• You can turn client and delivery feedback into a crisp, prioritized narrative that engineering can act on
• Your written specs are clear, structured, and decision-ready
• You build trust quickly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
