Summary: Cross Insurance is seeking an Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager to support the Account Management team in servicing and maintaining commercial client accounts. The role involves preparing documentation, assisting with renewals, and communicating with carriers to ensure high-quality service for clients. Responsibilities: - Support Account Managers in servicing a book of commercial lines business - Prepare certificates of insurance, policy changes, and related documentation - Assist with renewals and new business processing - Communicate with carriers regarding policy updates, underwriting requests, and billing inquiries - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system - Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner - Review policies and endorsements for accuracy - Assist clients with billing-related inquiries and coordinate with carriers to resolve discrepancies Required Qualifications: - 1–3 years of commercial lines insurance experience or related background - Property & Casualty license, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Applied Epic experience preferred Preferred Qualifications: - Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and terminology - Experience in an independent agency environment - Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and follow-through Required Skills: Commercial lines insurance, Property & Casualty license, Microsoft Office, Applied Epic, Clear and professional communication Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, Paid time off, And more
