Job Description
Summary: Cretex Medical is a contract manufacturer specializing in high-quality medical implants and components. The Calibration Technician is responsible for ensuring product compliance to quality systems and customer specifications through the maintenance and calibration of measuring equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Follow and execute calibration procedures
- Maintain database to track calibration status of gages and equipment
- Coordinate outside calibration services
- Communicate gage related quality issues to quality management team
- Communicate quality issues to Manager
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years' of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of ISO 13485
- Knowledge of quality specifications and regulatory requirements regarding calibration
- Understanding of gage application and usage
- Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Word Processing and Excel experience
- Experience with gage ordering processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with gage tracking software
