Banking Fraud Specialist
Location: Alexandria, VA
Pay: $19.00/hour
Employment Type: Temporary - approximately 12 months
In-office
Must have a clean background - the company will do fingerprints
Must be a US citizen and legally authorized to work in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and investigate potentially fraudulent transactions and account activity.
- Analyze account information and transaction history to identify suspicious activity.
- Research and document fraud cases accurately.
- Contact members and internal departments when additional information is needed.
- Follow established fraud prevention and investigation procedures.
- Escalate suspicious activity and complex cases as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate case notes, records, and supporting documentation.
- Protect confidential member and financial information.
- Meet productivity, accuracy, and service-level expectations.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve fraud-related issues.
