Summary: Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. is offering an Equine Underwriting Internship that provides hands-on experience in equine underwriting. The intern will conduct risk analysis, assist with underwriting tasks, and support the underwriting team with various projects. Responsibilities: - With the guidance, instruction and oversight of underwriting management, provide brokers competent & timely service, maintain accurate policy files and data management - Assess & rate equine risks, utilizing accurate pricing and established underwriting guidelines - Participate and contribute to special projects - Administrative support to the underwriting team as needed Required Qualifications: - Computer and administrative skills – general working knowledge of MS Office - Equine Industry knowledge - Strong emphasis on customer service and relationship building - Possess strong written and verbal communication skills - Reliable team player - Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize projects Preferred Qualifications: - Hands on Equine/Equine Farm experience preferred Required Skills: MS Office, Equine Industry Knowledge, Equine Farm Experience
