Summary: Core Specialty Insurance is a growing start-up that offers meaningful opportunities for interns. The Audit Intern will complete assigned audit tasks, gain a deep understanding of Internal Audit’s role, and develop business acumen in the Insurance industry. Responsibilities: - The intern will be responsible for completing assigned audit tasks within the timeline that is set - While questions are expected and welcomed, the intern should show growth throughout the summer as evidenced by their ability to work more independently as they receive training and gain more experience - By the end of the internship, the intern should have a deep understanding of Internal Audit’s role within the organization, as well as build a strong business acumen for the Insurance industry Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a business focus, preferably in Accounting or Finance - Foundational understanding of Audit and Accounting - Pro-active and driven to learn - Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) - Highly organized with attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage time effectively - Able to work easily with cross-functional teams Required Skills: Audit knowledge, Accounting knowledge Important Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Very competitive intern pay!
