Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QMED to oversee operational activities within the engine room and provide support across various onboard functions. The ideal candidate will ensure the proper maintenance and safety of all mechanical systems on the vessel, contributing to smooth and compliant vessel operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on the vessel’s auxiliary, propulsion, and other mechanical systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to applicable regulations and standards provided by maritime authorities.
• Manage storing and loading of bunkers.
• Lubricate engines and transfer oils and bunkers between vessels as needed.
• Oversee tool inventory, consumable spares, and the mechanical stores to ensure availability and proper stock levels.

Requirements

• USCG Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC)
• Transport Workers ID Credential (TWIC)
• USCG Medical Certificate
• Passport (SSE)
• STCW-95 Basic Training (Table A-VI)
• Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties (VPDSD)
• Water Survival / T-HUET
• Safegulf
