QA/QC Lead – Water, Telecom, Instrumentation, Control & MEP
Location: Kuwait
Experience: Minimum 10 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the company-wide Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) system and project quality plans.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality procedures in accordance with project and company requirements.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure appropriate inspection coverage across Water, Telecom, Instrumentation, Control, and MEP packages.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary inspection activities through qualified specialists and inspectors.
- Manage internal and external quality audits.
- Monitor and manage Non-Conformities (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Coordinate supplier quality requirements, inspections, and documentation.
- Monitor quality performance and ensure compliance with approved procedures and specifications.
- Manage quality handover documentation and ensure complete project close-out records.
- Guide and supervise inspectors and quality personnel.
- Escalate unresolved quality issues to the Chief Operating Officer.
- Prepare and submit clear quality reports and performance updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Contracting/EPC QA/QC.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading quality systems and inspection teams.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in quality auditing, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), NCR management, corrective actions, and supplier quality.
- Experience in Water/Process, Electrical/Instrumentation, Control, or MEP projects is required.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary inspection activities using qualified specialists.
- Strong quality documentation and reporting skills.
- Excellent English communication and technical reporting skills.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification is preferred.
