The Data Analyst Intern will support the Commercial Data team by assisting with data analysis and foundational data science activities, gaining hands-on exposure to real commercial use cases while working closely with experienced data scientists and analysts. Responsibilities: - Support data analysis initiatives by working with structured and unstructured datasets to help generate insights that inform commercial and strategic decision‑making, under the guidance of senior team members - Assist in the development, testing, and documentation of data science and analytics solutions, including exposure to basic machine learning and statistical techniques applied to real commercial use cases - Develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills by exploring datasets, identifying patterns or anomalies, and asking thoughtful questions to better understand business problems - Learn and apply foundational data science methods, such as regression, classification, clustering, or forecasting, with increasing independence as skills develop - Help prepare clear outputs and visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, summaries) and practice communicating analytical findings to non‑technical audiences with support from experienced colleagues - Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement efforts by helping explore new data sources, tools, analytical techniques, and documenting learnings for the team - Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, seeking feedback, developing technical and business acumen Required Qualifications: - Proficiency in programming and analytical tools, including Python, SQL, and R - Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts, time series analysis, and algorithms - Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, Data connections) - Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail - Effective communication skills to present complex information clearly - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Enrollment in a degree program in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field - Minimum GPA requirement: 3.5 Preferred Qualifications: - Prior Internship experience is a plus Required Skills: Python, SQL, R, Machine learning, Time series analysis, Algorithms, Advanced Excel, Data visualization, Tableau, Analytical skills
