Overview
Manage the Division Support Manager (DSM) team within Latin America (LAM) including development, implementation, and evaluation of DSM strategy, allocating resources appropriately according to customers’ needs.Work closely with division training in the development, implementation, and evaluation of training opportunities to support representatives, distributors and other stakeholders as defined, ensuring proper translation of training and development materials. Work Closely with MedEd teams on the development and implementation of educational initiatives for the region.
Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate and support the clinical needs of distributors in the region.Work closely with training teams in both divisions to identify and support the structure for clinical education and professional development of representatives, distributors and customers within the region.Collaborate with division training to develop and maintain means of calculating and analyzing return on investment (ROI) on training and development initiatives deployed within the region. Ensure distributors are informed of division MVP concepts and are aligned and supportive of the divisional training and development plan for the region.Support the divisions, Market Development Managers and IBMs in the execution of product launches and relaunch strategies for LAM.Obtain and share LAM market intelligence with Product Management and IBMs and collaborate to define, analyze, and evaluate opportunities for the introduction of new products within the region. Work closely with MedEd, providing support in execution of VISTA courses in region. Support the DSM team in the field as necessary. Establish and maintain consistent communication with direct reports and provide the coaching, feedback, and necessary resources for their training, development, and improvement of their individual competencies.Ensure that roles and responsibilities, performance expectations, and training requirements are developed and clearly documented and communicated to each employee. Cultivate a safe, secure, and supportive environment where employees can thrive.Responsible for performance and wage reviews for team members. Support the DSM team in the execution of training and development of core competencies. Identify and develop current and future leadership team. Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product specific requirements are met. Qualifications
Ability to communicate fluently in English.
Extensive experience in sales and/or business management in the medical device industry preferred.
Experience in delivering training.
Degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
Prior experience successfully managing a team preferred.
Previous sales management experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated strong business and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Ability to travel domestically and weekends as needed up to 50%.
Work under general office environmental conditions.
