They are currently seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2026, responsible for applying engineering principles to research and develop medical devices under the guidance of an Engineer. Responsibilities: - Interact with Engineers to plan, complete and report results of experiments, tests, prototype development, literature surveys, etc - Provide support to other team members upon request and where reasonable - Ask questions and learn about project expectations while driving toward scientific excellence - Work with engineers to define tasks - Follow procedures pertinent to tasks being performed - Ensure that appropriate documentation is kept detailing project history (reports, laboratory notebooks, invention disclosures, scientific literature, meeting notes, deliverables, etc.) Required Qualifications: - Enrolled in or a recent graduate of a BS (or advanced degree) program in engineering, engineering technology, engineering science or equivalent experience - Conscientious person with good work ethic - Demonstrated knowledge and ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate the completion of deliverables and tasks - Teachable, positive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and to help - Ability to effectively communicate and constructively collaborate with colleagues - Personal discipline - Ability to work with multiple persons and the multiple priorities that occur when each person has different needs - Ability to remain professional and positive in all personal interactions Required Skills: Personal Discipline, Prioritization
