Supply Chain Data & Analytics Specialist
Location: Reynosa, Mexico
Position Overview:Serves as the key connector between core SAP data systems and executive reporting across the supply chain. By designing automated Power BI models, interactive dashboards, and consolidated data pipelines. This role focuses on streamlining reporting workflows, tracking critical KPIs, and delivering real-time data modeling to improve inventory accuracy, vendor performance, and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and visual reports to track critical KPIs such as late orders, buffer strategies, MRP analysis, inventory analysis and projection, OTP, PLT, material coverage, and supply tracking
- Build robust relational data models, custom DAX measures, and Power Query transformations to ensure fast, accurate, and scalable reporting
- Extract, transform, and clean raw data from SAP modules and integrate it with non-SAP sources
- Eliminate manual Excel reporting by digitizing and automating routine daily, weekly, and monthly supply chain workflows
- Establish standardized metrics, validate data integrity between SAP and Power BI, and resolve data discrepancies across systems
- Analyze supply chain patterns to identify operational bottlenecks, demand shifts, vendor delays, and excess inventory risks
- Partner directly with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and warehouse leads to translate business requirements into clear data specifications
- Support end-users across the supply chain in navigating dashboards, interpreting KPIs, and making data-backed decisions
- Execute and support activities, projects, and processes under their responsibility in accordance with the requirements, procedures, and operational controls of the EEHS Management System.
- Identify, evaluate, and report OHS risks, environmental aspects, energy improvement opportunities, and incidents or deviations related to their activities.
- Contribute to achieving EEHS objectives through participation in training, investigations, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining applicable records.

- Adaptability and time management to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience manipulating structured and unstructured datasets to generate reporting, dashboards, and explanatory or predictive analyses.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing interactive dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Advanced SQL proficiency for querying, extracting, transforming, and aggregating data from data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. ggtgz
- Practical experience using Python or R for exploratory data analysis (EDA), report automation, or foundational machine learning models.
- Proven track record of collaborating with business leaders to define success metrics, build conversion funnels, and monitor key performance indicators.
- Experience in data quality, validation, anomaly detection, and collaborating on data governance or data cleaning rules.
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree completed (Required)
- English level C1 (Required)
- Excel skills (Advanced level preferred).
- Knowledge of ERP System & SAP.
- Advanced proficiency or professional certification in SQL and database management.
- Professional certification in modern Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Looker.
- Relevant certifications or specialized coursework in data science tools and programming languages like Python or R.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods, data modeling principles, and data warehouse architecture.
- Experience or certifications in cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Snowflake is a plus.
- Master's degree or postgraduate specialization in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Science is preferred
