IT Asset Support Technician at Consumer Cellular, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ

Summary: Consumer Cellular is a wireless provider serving older Americans with wireless plans, phones, devices, and customer support. The company is seeking an IT Asset Support Technician to support IT asset management operations, including receiving, tracking, imaging, shipping, troubleshooting, and auditing laptops and desktops for employees across the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming IT equipment and verify contents against purchase orders
- Log and track assets using inventory management systems
- Image laptops and desktops using standard company procedures
- Package and ship IT hardware to employees and remote offices
- Maintain organized storage and staging areas for IT assets
- Assist with returns, repairs, and warranty claims
- Support basic troubleshooting during imaging and setup
- Help with periodic inventory audits and reconciliations

Required Qualifications:
- You will need to reside within 50 miles of our Corporate Headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ as this role has the option of hybrid or onsite
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in IT support, shipping/receiving, or asset management
- Familiarity with Windows OS and basic PC hardware
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable using shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx) and asset tracking tools

Preferred Qualifications:
- some college or technical training preferred
- Experience with imaging tools like Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, or MDT
- Exposure to ITAM platforms (e.g., Service Desk Plus, ServiceNow, Lansweeper)
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification
