Position Summary
The Sales Training Manager partners closely with the Learning & Development Director to design, develop, and facilitate impactful sales training programs that support organizational sales strategies. This role creates comprehensive learning solutions for distributors, retailers, and internal sales teams, ensuring alignment with key business initiatives and capability needs. A core responsibility includes centralizing processes, tools, and policies to drive consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence across the Learning & Development team and all supported geographies and channels.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging training sessions focused on sales skills, high‑end portfolio selling, beer and brand trends, and market insights.
Analyze and refine training programs to maximize effectiveness and drive improved sales outcomes.
Collaborate on the development and enhancement of sales training modules, including instructor‑led sessions, webinars, and customized local content.
Identify, document, and share best practices with field sales teams, distributors, and retail partners.
Develop and lead a unified measurement strategy for all Sales Learning & Development programs.
Define Key Takeaways for each training initiative and evaluate post‑training behavioral change.
Track capability growth, skill application, and business impact to ensure program effectiveness across distributor partners.
Administer curriculum plans and learning activities through web‑based learning platforms.
Oversee and centralize execution of Distributor Development programs across assigned geographies (EBU and SEBU).
Manage participant communication from nomination through post‑program follow‑up.
Coordinate logistics to ensure seamless program delivery and high engagement.
Regularly design, update, and deliver Sales Learning & Development programs aligned with organizational goals and capability needs.
Support special projects and perform other duties as needed to advance the Sales Training function and overall commercial capability.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Sales Training, Human Resource Development or equivalent experience
Minimum 3-5years’ experience presenting or facilitating sales-related programs (alcohol-beverage industry experience strongly preferred)
Proven ability to create and execute standard processes, policies and systems
A demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively to accomplish assignments, with minimal supervision is required
Ability to build project plans to manage multiple initiatives
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Depth and breadth of knowledge related to beer sales
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of webinar and/or other online presentation platforms required
Able to create and deliver powerful, motivating, and influential presentations
Able to interface and partner with multiple functions to establish productive working relationships
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels

The salary range for this role is:
$96,700.00 - $167,200.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
