Job Description
Summary: Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is an aerospace manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. The Quality Tech 3 will report to the Quality Manager and support documentation control, quality issue resolution, manufacturing technique revisions, and supplier documentation management.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately review product documentation to issue and sign a certificate of conformance
- Maintain QMS document SharePoint and libraries
- Initiate and manage document review workflows for Quality, Engineering, and Operations
- Revise part specific manufacturing techniques for Quality specific items
- Communicate effectively with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Manage supplier documentation and approved supplier lists
Required Qualifications:
- • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with applicable government regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent certification/work experience in quality control/inspection role in a production environment
- • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in a quality control or inspection role, or other applicable industry related work experience
- • Familiarity with AS9100 specification and requirements
- • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- • Ability to speak, read, understand, and adhere to work instructions and standard operating procedures in English
- • Proficient in MS Office, specifically MS Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- • Familiarity with aerospace specifications (AMS, MIL, AS, ANSI, customer specific)
- • Familiarity with detail part drawings
- • Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection packages
- • Occasional flexibility regarding schedule for potential staggered shifts to meet production demand preferred
- • Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems
- • Ability to use, read, and interpret handheld dimensional measurement devices (i.e. vernier calipers, dyer calipers, radius gages, etc.)
