The internship provides opportunities for students to apply engineering skills in various upstream fields and complete projects under the guidance of technical mentors. Responsibilities: - Interns are typically matched to one of the Upstream fields including Reservoir, Production, Facilities, Drilling, Completions, Projects, or Electrical Engineering - Within that field, the intern will be responsible for completing one or more projects during the summer - As an example, past projects have included developing improved forecasting techniques for unconventional reservoirs, artificial lift optimization, facility design modifications to improve air quality, drill bit design/selection, sand production mitigation, and infrastructure benchmarking - The intern will work within established engineering and/or operations teams - The Engineering internship assignment locations will vary based on Phase 1 and Phase 2 internships Required Qualifications: - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution - Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or foreign equivalent - Current level in college: Sophomore through Senior or Graduate Student - Expected graduation date: Fall 2026 through Spring/Fall 2028 - Available for internship start mid-late May 2026 - A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks availability for internship Preferred Qualifications: - Willing to work in either of these locations: Houston, Texas; Kenedy, Texas; Midland, Texas; Dickinson, North Dakota; or Anchorage, Alaska - A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale - Previous internships or co-ops in an energy related field - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals - Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right - Understands how key financial and quantitative indicators impact the business Required Skills: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering Important Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Nice-to-Have Skills: Accountability, Financial Understanding, Collaboration Internship Start Date: Start in 2026
