TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER – ELEVATOR

Salary: AED 3,000 – 4,500 per month

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer – Elevator to provide technical support to the service and repair teams. The candidate should have strong knowledge of elevator systems, troubleshooting, repair, modernization, testing, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide technical support to technicians and troubleshooting teams for difficult elevator faults.

· Review and analyze recurring breakdowns and recommend corrective actions.

· Support troubleshooting of controllers, VVVF drives, motors, encoders, ARD systems, safety circuits, and electrical systems.

· Assist in diagnosing major mechanical and electrical issues.

· Review elevator service reports and provide technical recommendations.

· Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, and root cause analysis when required.

· Support planning and execution of major repair and replacement works.

· Review and assist with motor, traction machine, sheave, roping, brake, controller, and drive replacement works.

· Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and technical teams for difficult technical issues.

· Assist in third-party inspection rectification and testing activities.

· Support technicians during testing, commissioning, adjustment, and troubleshooting.

· Review technical requirements, drawings, manuals, and specifications.

· Maintain records of major technical issues and corrective actions.

· Provide technical guidance to the Service Manager and Operations Team.

· Ensure all technical activities comply with safety requirements and company procedures.

Requirements

· Minimum 3–5 years of relevant elevator technical experience.

· Strong knowledge of elevator electrical and mechanical systems.

· Good troubleshooting experience with VVVF drives, controllers, motors, encoders, ARD, and safety circuits.

· Experience in major elevator repair and modernization works preferred.

· Ability to analyze technical problems and provide practical solutions.

· Good technical report-writing and documentation skills.

· Ability to coordinate with technicians, customers, OEMs, and suppliers.

· UAE elevator experience preferred.

· UAE Driving License preferred.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
