We are looking for highly experienced Senior Odoo Developers based in India to join a UAE-based ERP implementation and development project on a remote working basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Odoo development, customization, integrations, and business process automation, with particular expertise in Odoo 18.

Position: Senior Odoo Developer

Location: India – Remote
Project: UAE-based
Experience: Minimum 8 years of Odoo development experience
Required: Strong hands-on knowledge of Odoo 18

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules and applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Odoo solutions.
• Develop custom modules, workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations.
• Customize existing Odoo functionality to meet specific business requirements.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and external APIs.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Odoo implementations.
• Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with functional consultants and business users.
• Participate in the complete development lifecycle from requirements through deployment and support.
• Ensure solutions follow Odoo development best practices and are upgrade-friendly.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional Odoo development experience.
• Strong practical experience with Odoo 18.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and the Odoo framework.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing custom Odoo modules.
• Strong understanding of Odoo ORM, models, views, security, workflows, automated actions, and server actions.
• Experience with Odoo APIs and third-party integrations.
• Good understanding of Git/version control.
• Ability to independently analyze complex business requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a UAE-based project team remotely.

UAE Trade & Customs:

• UAE import/export processes.
• UAE customs procedures and documentation.
• Import duties, customs-related workflows, and landed costs.
• UAE VAT and related accounting processes.

Distribution & Logistics:

• Drop shipment / drop-shipping processes.
• Local distribution and wholesale operations.
• Overseas/international distribution.
• Multi-company and multi-location operations.
• Inventory, procurement, logistics, and supply-chain workflows.

UAE Accounting & Finance:

• UAE accounting practices and VAT.
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Customer/vendor credit management.
• Post-dated cheque (PDC) management and accounting workflows.
• Payment allocation, collection processes, and reconciliation.
