Confidential
Patient Treatment Concierge at Confidential in New York, NY
Job Description
The Opportunity
We're a modern, fast-growing group of dental practices in Manhattan, building a patient experience that's far more personal than what people expect from a dental office. That experience lives with the Patient Treatment Concierge.
This is not a front desk role. You set the tone for every visit. You anticipate what patients need before they ask. You notice the nervous first-timer or the patient quietly worried about cost. You help people say yes to care they need, with clarity and without pressure. You'll guide patients through everything from a routine cleaning to a complex, high-dollar treatment plan, and you'll own whether they feel informed, comfortable, and ready to move forward.
If you've built your career delivering white-glove service in a high-expectation setting and want to bring that craft to dentistry, we'd love to meet you. You'll report to practice leadership and work on-site in Manhattan.
Responsibilities
Create a world-class patient experience.
- Welcome every patient with the care and attention of a private concierge: preferences remembered to personalize their experience, anticipating needs before they're voiced.
- Read the room. Notice the small and big things - emotional cues, ease nerves, and adjust your approach to each person.
- Resolve issues in the moment. You're empowered to find the right solution and own the outcome.
- Keep every communication channel (phone, text, email, in person) warm, polished, and consistent just like a white-glove experience should be.
Guide patients through treatment and financial decisions
- Explain treatment plans clearly, thoroughly and confidently alongside clinicians, so patients understand their diagnosis and options.
- Walk patients through insurance benefits, out-of-pocket costs, payment plans, and financing, with total transparency.
- Lead thoughtful conversations on large-dollar and multi-visit cases. Support patients to come to informed decisions about their care.
- Own the case pipeline from start to finish: accepted treatment, scheduled care, and follow-through on anything that stalls along the way.
Run a seamless day
- Own the daily schedule: confirm, fill gaps, resequence in real time, keep the practice moving forward at full capacity
- Partner with dentists and clinical teams in daily huddles to spot same-day opportunities and patient priorities
- Re-engage patients with unscheduled treatment through personal, well-timed outreach
- Coordinate referrals and specialty care so nothing falls through the cracks
Your Approach
- You anticipate. You take a hospitality-forward approach always, you see needs before they’re voiced, and you solve them before they become a problem.
- You read people. Your emotional intelligence is on point: You pick up on tone, and body language, and you gracefully adapt without a script.
- You make the complex simple. Insurance, financing, and sequencing become clear, confident next steps for the patient.
- You persuade by informing. Your influence comes from building trust and delivering genuine care, not pressure.
- You stay composed. You are agile and able to shift in the moment when priorities change. You keep your standards high and your energy steady.
- You work as one team. You move seamlessly between the front of the practice and the clinical team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a high-end, client-facing environment, such as luxury hospitality (fine dining, five-star hotels, private clubs), plastic surgery or aesthetic practices, med spa or laser services, or luxury client services
- A track record of delivering exceptional, personalized service to clients with high expectations
- Comfort discussing price and value, with experience guiding clients through high-ticket, elective, or self-pay decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfort with technology and a quick learner on new systems
- Nice to have: dental or insurance experience. We'll train the right person.
