Cabinet Vision Engineer – Commercial Millwork

A well-established commercial millwork and cabinet manufacturer located in Northeast Ohio is seeking an experienced Cabinet Vision Engineer to join our team.

We specialize primarily in commercial millwork, cabinetry, casework, countertops and custom architectural applications for clients across a variety of industries and markets. We are looking for an experienced professional who can take projects from architectural drawings and specifications through detailed shop drawings and production-ready engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and detailed shop drawings using Cabinet Vision
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, elevations and project requirements
• Engineer commercial cabinetry, casework and custom millwork for production
• Create and maintain Cabinet Vision assemblies, materials, construction methods and standards
• Prepare projects for CNC machining and manufacturing
• Generate accurate cut lists, material requirements and production information
• Work closely with project management and manufacturing personnel to resolve design and production issues
• Review drawings for constructability, accuracy and compliance with project requirements
• Incorporate customer, architect and project-management revisions into drawing packages
• Help improve engineering standards, Cabinet Vision libraries and production efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant millwork/cabinet engineering experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Cabinet Vision
• Experience developing detailed shop drawings for commercial millwork and cabinetry
• Understanding of cabinet construction, materials, hardware and manufacturing processes
• Experience preparing projects for CNC production
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications and field dimensions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience with commercial casework, custom architectural millwork and solid-surface applications is a plus

Position & Work Location

This position is based in Northeast Ohio.

Our strong preference is for an experienced professional who can work on-site or in a hybrid arrangement, allowing close collaboration with our project-management and manufacturing teams.

However, remote candidates will be considered for individuals with significant Cabinet Vision and commercial millwork experience and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
