About the Role

Confiable Solutions is hiring a Junior Developer to support and build features for Probench, our online assessment and reporting platform. The role is designed for someone early in their career who’s strong in front-end development and eager to grow into full-stack work:

• 40%: Support maintenance and feature development in Probench (.NET Framework)
• 60%: Build and improve interactive dashboards using Angular, Chart.js, .NET, and Node.js

.NET experience is a plus, but not mandatory—we’re open to candidates who can learn .NET on the job.

You will contribute to designing clean, maintainable solutions and continuously improving our product’s performance, usability, and visual clarity.

Key Responsibilities

- Own development of interactive dashboard experiences using Angular + Chart.js (data visualization, drill-downs, filtering, responsive UI).

- Build responsive and visually appealing UI components using HTML and CSS.

- Understand and work with existing Probench source code, including syntax, semantics, and architecture.

- Work with APIs and data flows (REST), ensuring charts display accurate and meaningful data.

- Contribute to backend/API work as needed using .NET and/or Node.js.

- Maintain and enhance Probench’s existing .NET Framework codebase (bug fixes, improvements, new features).

- Translate requirements into clean, scalable implementations; suggest better approaches when needed.

- Collaborate with the product team to translate requirements into clean and scalable technical implementations.

- Write high-quality, well-documented, and reusable code aligned with best practices.

- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance (dashboards + APIs), and ensure a consistent user experience.

- Communicate clearly and proactively with team members, sharing both challenges and progress.

- Stay curious and continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and best practices.

- Mentor junior developers and help set engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-4 years of development experience (or equivalent strong project experience).

- Strong skills in Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Experience building rich UI and charts using Chart.js (or similar visualization libraries).

- Working knowledge of jQuery.

- Working knowledge of .NET or Node.js and REST APIs.

- Solid fundamentals in HTML/CSS, debugging, and working in existing codebases.

- Ability to read, analyze, and understand existing codebases.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership mindset (remote collaboration).

Nice to Have

- Strong proficiency in .NET Framework / C# / ASP.NET (highly valued).

- Experience with data visualization or dashboard products.

- Understanding of UX considerations for charts and data storytelling.

- Git, agile practices, CI/CD familiarity.

Compensation
