Job Description
Condustrial, Inc. is actively seeking experienced Data Center Technicians with strong Electrical or Commercial HVAC backgrounds to support mission-critical data center operations. We are looking for highly skilled professionals who understand the importance of reliability, safety, and uptime.
If you have experience maintaining electrical distribution systems, critical cooling systems, generators, UPS systems, or large commercial mechanical equipment, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mission-critical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment serving critical environments
- Monitor facility infrastructure using Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Respond quickly to alarms and emergency situations
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Perform equipment inspections and document findings
- Coordinate with facility management and vendors
- Follow all OSHA, NFPA 70E, and lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain the highest level of safety and professionalism
Electrical Candidates Should Have Experience With
- Switchgear
- UPS Systems
- ATS/STS
- PDUs
- Transformers
- Backup generators
- Medium and low-voltage electrical systems
- Preventive electrical maintenance
- Power distribution
HVAC Candidates Should Have Experience With
- CRAC Units
- CRAH Units
- Chillers
- Cooling towers
- Pumps
- Air handlers
- Chilled water systems
- Building automation systems (BAS/BMS)
- Commercial HVAC troubleshooting
- Preventive maintenance
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial Electrical or HVAC experience
- Experience in data centers, hospitals, manufacturing plants, power plants, pharmaceutical facilities, or other critical facilities preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical or mechanical systems
- Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong safety mindset
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and your own transportation
- Pass a background check, the work is performed on a secured site
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License
- EPA Universal Certification
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- NFPA 70E Training
- Experience with Building Management Systems
- Experience with Schneider Electric, Vertiv, Eaton, ABB, Liebert, Trane, Carrier, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or similar equipment
- Previous Data Center or Mission Critical Facility experience
