Location: Seattle, WA - Onsite
Duration: Part time (25+ each week) and 6 Months
Schedule: Mon to Fri (11am to 4pm)
Pay Ranges: $48.00 - $52.00/hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Office Operations & Events Manager to lead daily office operations, execute employee engagement programs, and cultivate a seamless workplace environment. Serving as the primary onsite resource for facilities, events, and administrative operations, you will ensure our office remains welcoming, organized, and operationally excellent for employees and visitors.
In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with IT, HR, and Facilities teams to manage vendor relationships, oversee site budgets, coordinate employee meal and snack programs, and execute memorable company events.
Key Responsibilities
- Workplace & Facilities Operations: Own day-to-day office management, conducting regular walkthroughs to ensure a clean, safe, and organized space. Coordinate with building management and external vendors for maintenance, repairs, and cleaning.
- Events & Employee Engagement: Plan, budget, and execute site-specific events—including holiday celebrations, social hours, team-building activities, and cultural programs—to foster an inclusive workplace environment.
- Amenities & Hospitality Management: Oversee food and beverage programs, daily catering, snack services, kitchen restocking, and inventory management for all workplace supplies.
- Onsite IT & Administrative Support: Manage office ticketing requests, mail/package distribution, local onboarding logistics for new hires, and AV setup for company broadcasts and leadership meetings.
- Budgeting & Space Planning: Track office expenses, manage localized facility budgets, and collaborate with leadership on space planning, desk allocations, and headcount projections.
- Internal Communications: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, maintaining updated site intranet pages, office wikis, and operational announcements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or hospitality management (preferably within a high-growth tech setting).
- Vendor & Event Management: Proven track record managing external vendors, coordinating catered food programs, and planning mid-to-large-scale internal events.
- Organizational Mastery: Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) and workplace ticketing systems.
- Communication & Service Focus: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong dedication to delivering high-touch customer service to internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience handling onsite AV/broadcast logistics for company-wide meetings.
- Experience supporting space planning, desk management software, and physical expansion initiatives.
