Job Description
Summary: Commvault is a leader in cyber resilience, helping organizations recover from cyberattacks and keep their data safe. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to support their Global Payroll and Accounting functions, providing hands-on experience in payroll operations and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring accurate salary calculations, variable payments, and payroll adjustments
- Support verification of employee payroll deductions, including taxes, social contributions, and benefits
- Work with ADP and Human Resources to help ensure payroll processing complies with local laws and regulations across multiple countries
- Maintain proper documentation for payroll processes and compliance audits
- Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
- Support preparation of payroll-related journal entries and account reconciliations for multiple countries
- Assist in ensuring appropriate accounting treatment of payroll transactions in accordance with company policies
- Participate in monthly close activities related to payroll accounting
- Participate in automation initiatives and payroll process improvement projects
- Support the implementation of an employee payroll portal leveraging AI to:
- Automate responses to common payroll-related questions
- Enable employees to use self-serve and access payroll information
- Provide structured submission processes to streamline payroll inquiries and documentation
- Work cross-functionally with Accounting, Human Resources, payroll providers, and global business teams
- Communicate proactively with team members to resolve issues efficiently
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficient with systems and technology; strong aptitude for learning new tools
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work from Tuesday May 26th until Friday August 7th
- Be at least 17 years of age prior to scheduled start date
- Be currently enrolled at an accredited institution
- Be enrolled at an accredited institution the semester immediately following the summer internship program (Fall 2026)
