Accounts Payable Summer Intern at Commvault in Remote

Summary: Commvault is a leader in cyber resilience, providing solutions that help organizations recover from cyberattacks and protect their data. They are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join their Accounts Payable team, where the intern will gain valuable experience by collaborating with team members and supporting various accounting tasks. This full-time summer internship offers hands-on exposure to accounts payable processes and opportunities for process improvements. Responsibilities: - Process invoices into the Accounts Payable system - Process new vendor requests and purchase orders - Assist in preparation of journal entries - Complete internal and external audit requests - Complete account reconciliations at the end of each month - Communicate with vendors to confirm their banking information - Sort / organize the Accounts Payable inbox - Analyze T&E expenses and inquiry trends to help identify opportunities for process improvements and stronger collaboration between Finance and Operations - Play an active role in a T&E ticketing system enhancement project to gain hands-on exposure to system and workflow design - Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows, and identify process gaps - Support testing and help create user-friendly documentation and training materials to improve the employee experience Required Qualifications: - Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Finance - Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic program - Proficient in Word and Excel - Highly detail oriented with a strong sense of accountability - Be at least 17 years of age prior to scheduled start date - Be currently enrolled at an accredited institution Preferred Qualifications: - NetSuite, Concur, or ServiceNow knowledge is a plus Required Skills: Accounting principles, Accounts Payable, Invoice processing, Journal entries, Account reconciliations, Audit requests, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Concur, ServiceNow
