DESCRIPTION Position at Community Options, Inc. Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.   We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Residential IDD Services in Feasterville-Trevose, PA. The Director of Residential Services maintains a high-quality program to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This person is responsible for supporting the team with day-to-day operations and challenges to achieve programmatic goals.  Starting pay is $65,000/per year  Responsibilities  • Lead and train a team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities  • Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition  • Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed  • Develop and update Individual Support Plans (ISP)/Person-Centered Plans (PCP) with an interdisciplinary team to include any concerns, observations, and behavioral developments  • Ensure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management  • Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely  • Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concerns  • Manage relationships with the families and guardians of the individuals in our care  • May conduct programmatic investigations  • May be required to be on-call in cooperation with other management staff  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned  • Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation Minimum Requirements  • Bachelor’s Degree required with Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record  • Team oriented with demonstrated leadership experience  • Experience with problem solving against multiple priorities  • Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing  Why Community Options?  • Competitive Insurance Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)  • Paid Holidays—Including a Birthday Holiday  • Generous PTO  • Employee Incentive & Discount Programs  • 403b Retirement Plan  • Incredible career growth opportunities  • University partnerships that include tuition reduction  Please Visit Our Website to Complete an Online Application!
