Technology Finance is responsible for the provision of financial control and management services to the Technology division. We work closely with our stakeholders to help them understand their technology costs and deliver current and future strategic and financial plans.
Your team forms part of the Technology Finance Performance Management Team and is responsible for management reporting and analysis to Technology Leadership and Group Finance.

Do work that matters
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Technology Finance Performance Reporting and is responsible for supporting financial and commercial outcomes across the Technology Finance business.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Supporting the delivery of monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis and commentary for Technology Leadership and Group Finance
Assisting with the consolidation of Technology financial results and ensuring timely, accurate and high-quality inputs into Group Finance reporting processes
Providing analysis and insights on Technology costs, budgets and forecasts to support business decision-making
Supporting budget, forecast and outlook processes, including driver-based analysis and planning activities
Performing detailed cost analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities for cost optimisation
Maintaining and enhancing financial models, reporting packs and analysis used to support management reporting
Assisting with balance sheet analysis, reconciliations and substantiation activities to support strong financial control
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, forecasting and performance management processes
Building effective working relationships across Finance and Technology to support delivery of strategic objectives
Working closely with the Senior Manager and broader team to provide accurate, timely and actionable financial insights
Processing of month end journals and P&L analysis
Balance sheet analysis, substantiation and reconciliation
Process improvement, standardisation and simplification
Positively contributing to the team culture and working environment
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Accounting and financial skills; including financial analysis and control
Experience in Public Practice or Commercial finance, ideally within a large corporate
Exceptional presentation with the ability to prioritise and think outside the square
High degree of commercial acumen, with experience in Technology a distinct advantage
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Stakeholder management skills with proven experience in building and maintaining strong business relationships
Proven ability to enhance and streamline processes
