Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Education Coordinator the primary focus of the Education Coordinator position is the assurance of effective education of hospital staff, patients, and patient's family/support.
Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.To thrive in this vital role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others. - Plan for and manage fiscal and other resources.
- Assess and prioritize organization-wide education needs.
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate education programming.
- Serve as administrator of CHI’s online learning management and clinical reference resource systems.
- Compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Participate in and ensure support for quality improvement.
- Participate in and ensure support for patient and employee safety programs.
- Participate in development and implementation of strategic and operational department plans, especially related to education.
- Foster interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships with internal and external teams to promote learning and facilitate education around new initiatives.
- Serve as liaison for student learning experiences.

Job Requirements
Required
- Current and Acitve CA Registered Nurse
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Fire Safety, within 90 Days
Preferred
- Experience as an Education Coordinator or in a position in an Education Department
- Experience with Data Entry, data analysis, and adult learning instruction
