Common Grounds
Store Manager at Common Grounds in Saint John, IN
Job Description
Full job description
Sounds all too familiar. We have been there and understand, which is why we are creating something very different. Earning a paycheck is fine, but having fun doing it and looking forward to coming to work is a game changer.
We are seeking a Store Leader (a.k.a. Chief Cheerleader, Boss Barista, Director of People Development, Head Customer Advocate) to partner with us in creating the best damn coffee business for our team members and customers.
To join this party, first and foremost, it’s BYOP. Bring Your Own Passion. We will provide the venue, support, and drinks (it’s specialty coffee, remember?), but it’s your passion for people, process, and performance that will make this party epic. Like any good party, you will be responsible for ensuring everyone’s having fun, they are happy and want to stay, and people rave about it when they leave.
Hopefully we’ve piqued your interest, so we can talk a little more shop.
If you’re searching for General Manager or Store Manager positions, hopefully you kind of get this stuff is part of the job, but our HR Manager says it needs to be included. So here we go…As the Store Leader, you will be responsible for hiring, scheduling, training, operations, Team Member engagement, creating Raving Fans (the customers), and the financial performance of your location.

Ability to brag about working with the fastest growing company in the area - Sure thing
What’s in it for you? Well, besides a great environment where you are valued as an individual and contributor, your pay is based on your performance. In addition to a nice base compensation, you will have an aggressive yet achievable bonus plan. Who doesn’t like making more money when you’re winning? To that point, winners keep score. We expect to win, and won’t accept losing. There’s no trophy for 2nd place.
Ready to apply? After all the work we put into a clever job description, we sure hope so.
