📢 Join our team as an Operation Engineer 📢
You will join the Bank Frontend cell, which is responsible for five IT products and operates across technologies including Windows, Unix (Linux), Tomcat, Oracle, MS SQL, Perl, Shell, HOST, and load balancing. As an Operations Engineer in Bank Frontend, you will be responsible for supporting and operating the Google Cloud product Document Intelligence, helping to ensure stable service delivery, efficient incident handling, and continuous improvement of related operational processes.
What you will be doing on the daily basis? 👇
- Monitor applications, service performance, availability, and processing quality to ensure stable and uninterrupted operations
- Handle incidents, problems, and changes, including troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause analysis
- Analyze and document IT issues and provide workarounds where needed
- Support configuration, testing, and validation of document-processing workflows and new releases
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of operational support processes for cloud products
- Coordinate with development, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support deployments, changes, and service improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain an audit trail of operational activities
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including deployment guides, monitoring procedures, and incident response plans
Which technology & skills are important for us? 👌
- High knowledge of Application operation in Google Cloud systems
- Good Linux/Unix knowledge
- MS SQL, Oracle and relational databases knowledge
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Basic knowledge of Tomcat
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of ServiceNow, Tivoli/UC4 and Dynatrace

Description of the cluster:
The mission of the cluster Document Lifecycle (DL) is to enable a paperless bank. DL creates a globally consistent and complete Commerzbank archive and front-end infrastructure for document generation, scanning, electronic transport and archiving for bank and client.
The cluster is responsible for a range of more than 60 applications including standard products such als ISIS Papyrus, Doxis4, SAPERION and DocAI as well as inhouse-developed software. The main platforms in use are Linux/Solaris, Windows and Mainframe (IBM z/OS)
