Quality Intern at Comfort Systems USA in Greater Houston

Summary: TAS Energy Inc. is part of Comfort Systems USA and is looking for a Quality Intern to join their Quality Team for the Summer of 2025. The intern will support various quality-related tasks and assist in research, data collection, and administrative duties. Responsibilities: - Assist in research and data collection - Support team members with daily tasks and administrative duties - Assisting in training activities regarding changes and updates to existing applications - Performing process and verification audits after corrective actions have been implemented - Participate in team meetings and contributing ideas - Manage and update database or spreadsheet - Complete assignments within deadlines - Any additional duties as assigned by TAS Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a degree in quality engineering, NDT, or any other engineering related field - Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms - Be trainable and coachable - Identify problems, analyze situations, and develop solutions - Be able to adjust to new situations, learn quickly, and embrace change - Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines - Build strong relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and clients as applicable - Demonstrate proficiency in specific software tools - Take proactive steps to seek out new opportunities and go beyond what is expected - Be able to analyze information and make sound judgments - Collaborate effectively with team members, share ideas, and contribute to collective goals - Be a good team player, offer support, and contribute to a positive work environment - Demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervision - Set priorities and make decisions on a variety of complex matters; organize, schedule, and coordinate a variety of activities and projects - Retrieve data to prepare documents and produce a variety of reports from various software programs Preferred Qualifications: - Prior Quality related courses or problem-solving related experience is encouraged Important Skills: Quality engineering, Data analysis, Software proficiency Nice-to-Have Skills: Effective communication, Problem-solving, Team collaboration, Time management, Initiative
