Summary: Colorado Public Radio is a nonprofit organization that produces news, music, and cultural experiences for communities across Colorado. The Associate IT Support Analyst provides front-line technical support for desktops, laptops, phones, and basic network connectivity, serving as the first point of contact for technology support requests. The role troubleshoots routine issues, documents solutions, and collaborates with senior technical staff when additional expertise is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provides front-line technical support for CPR’s day-to-day technology needs, including desktops, laptops, phones, and basic network connectivity
- Serves as a first point of contact for technology support requests, responding to tickets and calls, troubleshooting issues, determining priority, and resolving routine technical problems
- When an issue requires additional expertise, this position works with more senior technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve the issue
- This role helps ensure CPR’s technology is reliable and functional, so staff can do their work most effectively
Required Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience providing help desk or technical support to both in-person and remote users in a Windows environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to support users with varying levels of technical expertise
- Experience using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with Windows systems in a domain network environment
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking principles, network cabling, Wi-Fi, and basic network troubleshooting
- Experience documenting technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions
- The new hire is expected to reside in the Denver Metro upon starting - this is not a remote position
- This position's schedule is Monday through Friday with on-call hours each month and some evening or weekend work for patches and updates
- This position will work in-facility at our offices in Centennial, Colorado
Preferred Qualifications:
- A fully relatable bachelor's or master's degree may replace some of the required years of experience needed to qualify for the position, but is not required for the role
