Summary: Colliers is an industry leader in real estate services, seeking a Valuation Analyst to support their appraisal process. The role involves analyzing data, gathering market research, and collaborating with Valuation Specialists to ensure high-quality appraisals. Responsibilities: - Partner closely with Valuation Specialists to support the appraisal process - Contribute to better appraisals by identifying errors, compliance issues and other anomalies - Analyze data, gather market research, conduct assessments, tax searches, conduct surveys in addition to collecting and organizing market and property information - Take initiative to proactively work on any issues - Consistently deliver high quality work on time and on budget Required Qualifications: - Commitment to becoming a licensed appraiser, progressing towards your trainee and certified general licenses - Must be detail oriented; possess outstanding verbal and written communication - An eagerness to learn all aspects of commercial real-estate as well as the knowledge you gained from your undergraduate degree - Possess strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Post-secondary degree or diploma is required Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Argus is an asset Required Skills: Data analysis, Market research, Microsoft Office Suite Important Skills: Valuation process support Nice-to-Have Skills: Eagerness to learn, Post-secondary education, Argus experience Benefits: Employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision, Employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance, Short-term / long-term disability, 401k plan, which includes an employer match, 10 days of sick leave, Twelve weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave, Annual bonus, based on company and individual performance
