Physical Therapist Clinical Director at College Park… · Overland…

Are You Ready for More —and Ready to Move to the Next Level? You became a physical therapist to change lives. But maybe you are ready for more: more influence, more growth, more leadership, and the opportunity to help other clinicians become exceptional at what they do. College Park Physical Therapy is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist ready to step into a Clinical Director role that combines meaningful one-on-one patient care with true clinical leadership. This is an advancement opportunity for someone who finds purpose not only in helping patients succeed, but also in developing people, strengthening a team, and building a clinic where exceptional care can thrive. Practice With Purpose. Lead With Intention. Build a Career That Lasts. At our privately owned outpatient practice, we intentionally protect the kind of physical therapy many clinicians entered the profession to provide: thoughtful evaluations, one-on-one follow-up care, meaningful relationships, sound clinical reasoning, and the time to educate and coach patients toward better health. As Clinical Director, you will help protect that standard across the clinic. You will report to our Director of Administration and lead the day-to-day clinical operation while continuing to treat patients. Your responsibility is bigger than your own caseload: you will help create the environment, expectations, coaching, accountability, and operational consistency that allow the entire team to succeed. What You'll Lead: Clinical quality, integrity, service excellence, patient success, safety, compliance, and day-to-day clinic performance. Hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluation of physical therapists and other clinical staff. A high-performing PT team that communicates, collaborates, takes ownership, and delivers exceptional patient care. Treatment-plan and clinical reasoning support, including serving as a trusted sounding board for therapists with challenging cases. Clinician scheduling, case assignment, access to care, and effective use of clinic capacity. Operational policies and procedures that create efficiency, consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance. Clinic goals tied to patient outcomes, team development, service, and responsible financial performance. Referral-source relationships, community events, presentations, PR and marketing interactions that represent College Park PT at its best. Equipment, supplies, inspections, maintenance, and other practical needs that keep the clinic ready to serve. What Leadership Looks Like Here: Good leaders do more than manage a schedule. They create clarity, inspire people around the mission, coach for growth, listen well, address problems, and hold standards. They understand that feedback is not punishment—it is one of the ways people and organizations improve. We also believe compassion and accountability belong together. The Clinical Director models a culture where patients and team members feel seen and heard, while expectations for professionalism, performance, growth, and quality remain high. Our Culture (This Matters) We live out "We Care More"—for patients and for each other. That looks like: Positivity without complacency. Accountability without fear. High standards paired with real support. A team that communicates, collaborates, and grows together. No egos. No autopilot. No treating patients or clinicians like numbers. Leaders who equip and empower others to become better clinicians and stronger professionals. This Could Be Your Next Step If: You are an experienced Kansas-licensed or license-eligible Physical Therapist. You are a strong clinician who is ready to influence care beyond your own caseload. You genuinely enjoy helping other people grow, improve, and succeed. You can give and receive constructive feedback, have direct conversations, and follow through on expectations. You are coachable, accountable, dependable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership. You want to understand the business of a successful practice—not only the clinical side of the profession. You value one-on-one patient care and refuse to let leadership pull you away from the reason you became a PT. You are looking for a place to invest, grow, lead, and build—not a short-term stop. This Role Is Not for Everyone: If you want to treat your own patients and leave the rest of the clinic to someone else, this is probably not your role. Clinical leadership requires ownership. It means noticing what needs attention, communicating clearly, coaching people, making decisions, protecting standards, and being willing to have the conversations that help a team improve. Compensation & Benefits Designed for Longevity: $85,000–$100,000 annual salary, based on experience, qualifications, and leadership readiness. Bonus opportunities. Generous benefit package. Generous continuing-education allowance and ongoing professional development support. Paid time off and holidays. Retirement plan with employer contribution. Schedules designed to protect evenings and weekends. A genuine career path with opportunities to expand leadership, specialization, and organizational impact. Why Take the Next Step? A job post can only tell you so much. If you have been asking yourself, "What's next for me?" and you are ready to use your clinical experience to lead, mentor, and build something meaningful, we would welcome the opportunity to meet you.
