Summary: Cohesity is the leader in AI-powered data security, and they are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join their team. In this role, you will work alongside a mentor and engineering squad to tackle complex engineering challenges and build product features using cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities: - You will be embedded within one of our engineering squads where you'll work side-by-side with your mentor & teammates to solve large, complex engineering challenges - You will be working on cutting edge distributed systems technology and building product features that customers will use - You will learn how to develop high quality software and understand the various software development processes to ship successful products - You will work alongside your mentor and your team to build product features and solve real problems at massive scale - You'll be exposed to cutting edge technologies in distributed systems and hyper-converged systems space - You'll be a part of our culture and mission in transforming data - You will deliver impact while deepening your technical skills Required Qualifications: - You are competent in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Systems Design - You have familiarity and proficiency in backend development: OOP, distributed or parallel systems, Unix/Linux environments, machine learning, asynchronous programming, networking, security, and/or software development - You have a passion for in any: C++, Java, GoLang, Python - You enjoy solving puzzles and possess critical thinking abilities - You are actively pursuing BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related engineering field at accredited university, and will not graduate before December 2024 Required Skills: Data Structures, Algorithms, Systems Design, Backend Development, Object-Oriented Programming, Distributed Systems, Parallel Systems, Unix/Linux, Machine Learning, Asynchronous Programming, Networking, Security, Software Development, C++, Java, GoLang, Python
