Responsibilities: - Work on engineering projects under the supervision of senior engineers - Assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of engineering projects - Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to solve technical challenges - Conduct research, testing, and documentation as required Required Qualifications: - Must be a US citizen - Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field, meeting the academic year requirements - Must be proficient in Excel, able to generate charts and analyze data tables - Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in engineering projects - Some hands-on experience a plus - The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate student who has completed at least two years of study, with a preference for those in their third or fourth year - Eligible fields of study include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science (minimum three years completed for physics/materials science students) - All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
