Consent Policy

In considering my application for employment, Coborn’s may verify the information I provide and obtain additional information relating to my background. I authorize Coborn’s and its representatives to contact my prior employers, supervisors, company personnel, schools and all others to verify information I provide and obtain additional information. I authorize all persons, schools, companies, corporations, credit bureaus, and law enforcement agencies to supply any information or transcripts concerning my background. I understand that Coborn’s may conduct criminal background checks, drug testing, and other testing and/or verification as part of its application or employment process. I understand that I should not apply for employment if I am not willing to be subject to such checks, testing and verification. I waive any right to bring a claim against Coborn’s or persons who gather or provide information about me, including claims for defamation, invasion or privacy.

Eligibility to Work I understand that an offer of employment is contingent on my providing the documentation necessary to establish my identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

No Employment Contract/At-Will Employment I understand that the information contained in the employment application or my being invited to participate in any stage of the hiring process does not create a job offer or an employment contract with Coborn’s. If I am hired, I understand that both Coborn’s and I have the right to end employment at any time for any reason, with or without notice.

Complete Application I understand that I am required to complete the application fully even if I have a resume. I understand that completing the application fully enables Coborn’s to better assess my application and compare my application to those submitted from other candidates.
