Job Description
Summary: Cobalt AI is focused on providing security solutions and they are seeking a GSOC Operator to monitor and respond to security threats globally. The role involves alarm monitoring, remote credential management, incident response, and communication with various stakeholders to ensure safety and security.
Responsibilities:
- Use alarm systems to monitor alarms
- Alert customer staff immediately if a security incident occurs
- Escalate issues according to the customer's threat matrix
- Provide regular reports on security incidents and alarm activations
- Assist in setting up access rights for new employees and vendors
- Manage and update credentials in Credential Management systems
- Ensure dual credentialing is monitored for both systems
- Respond to requests for credential management from the customer
- Provide remote access support to authorized customer personnel
- Ensure secure access through the security system
- Assist in troubleshooting any access issues that may arise by passing along to Engineer
- Answer incoming phone calls to the GSOC 24/7, 365 days a year
- Provide excellent customer service to callers
- Route calls to the appropriate person or department as needed
- Maintain a log of calls for record-keeping and follow-up
- Manage alerts and notifications through Intelligence platform for travel-related risks
- Conduct routine analysis of global threats that could impact travelers
- Communicate directly with travelers regarding safety information or alerts
- Ensure travelers are informed of any relevant risks during their trips
- Responding Quickly: When you receive an email during your shift, make sure to reply within 5 minutes
- Completing Tasks: If an email has a task for you, try to finish it while you’re on duty
- Handover Information: At the end of your shift, if you have any unfinished tasks, write down everything the next person needs to know
- Act Quickly: If you notice any security problems or alarms, take action right away
- Work with Others: If something happens, communicate with the on-site security team and any emergency services that may need to be involved
- Use Alert Tools: Use the systems we have, like Worldcue and Preparis, to send out alerts
- Be the Contact Person: You will be the main point of contact for anything related to security
- Provide Updates: Keep everyone informed about what’s going on with security
- Collaborate with Other Teams: Work closely with other departments, like IT and facilities management, to help solve security issues together
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to monitor alarms and respond to security incidents
- Experience in managing and updating credentials in Credential Management systems
- Ability to provide remote access support to authorized personnel
- Excellent customer service skills for inbound phone call management
- Ability to manage alerts and notifications through an Intelligence platform
- Strong communication skills to provide updates and collaborate with other teams
- Ability to act quickly and work with others during incident response
- Familiarity with alert tools like Worldcue and Preparis
- Ability to maintain logs and handover information effectively
