THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a bilingual Relationship Executive (1 English/French + 1 English/Chinese) to join our Toronto team in a permanent onsite role working five days per week. This position focuses on managing and growing a portfolio of high-value (HNW and premium) clients by delivering high-touch relationship management, execution support, and relationship-led business development in a regulated, execution-only environment.
To support clients across global market hours, this role may require a flexible schedule, including rotating evening and/or weekend shifts.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Relationship Executive is responsible for retaining and growing an assigned client book. This includes deepening client relationships, increasing engagement and trading activity, identifying wallet share opportunities, and generating new revenue through referrals and reactivation. The role operates in a non-advisory capacity and requires a strong balance of client service, commercial focus, market knowledge, and execution discipline.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned HNW and premium clients through regular contact and proactive outreach.
Act as the primary day-to-day contact for client inquiries, service needs, platform support, and execution-related requests in a non-advisory, execution-only capacity.
Develop a strong understanding of client objectives, trading behaviours, and activity levels to deliver a tailored client experience.
Ensure a seamless client experience across onboarding, engagement, and retention.
Proactively identify and help resolve client issues in coordination with internal teams.
Revenue Growth & Client Engagement
Own retention and revenue growth across an assigned premium client book.
Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, referrals, and reactivation within the existing client base.
Execute targeted engagement strategies to increase client activity and long-term client value.
Monitor client activity and intervene early where engagement drops or retention risk is identified.
Maintain visibility of opportunities and follow through on actions that support book growth.
Execution Support & Business Development
Provide high-quality execution support, including phone dealing and platform assistance, in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
Educate clients on platform features, order types, and risk-control tools to support better engagement and usage.
Maintain strong knowledge of global financial markets and relevant asset classes.
Generate new business through networking, referrals, and relationship-led business development.
Partner with Marketing and Sales stakeholders to support premium segment initiatives and client outreach.
Collaboration, Compliance & Reporting
Work closely with Trading, Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Marketing to deliver a consistent and high-quality client experience.
Ensure all client interactions and communications comply with CIRO, CSA, CASL, PIPEDA, and AML/ATF requirements.
Maintain accurate CRM records of client interactions, opportunities, and activity.
Track and report on key metrics including retention, revenue growth, client engagement, and pipeline activity.
Share client feedback and market insights to support continuous improvement.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
3–5 years of experience in derivatives and/or financial sales within a regulated dealer environment.
Proven experience managing premium or high-value client relationships and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of global financial markets and asset classes.
Commercially driven with strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through.
Excellent written, verbal, and phone-based communication skills.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends where required.
Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
CIRO proficiency (including CIRE and Derivatives Exam) is preferred, or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe.
