Job Description
Summary: Cloudflare is on a mission to help build a better Internet, providing services that protect and accelerate Internet applications. The Finance Business Operations Intern will assist in developing analytics solutions and streamlining internal data processes while working on various projects to enhance data capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Build workflows to streamline existing processes and address existing pain points. You will lead the project scoping, solution design and code execution to achieve the defined objectives
- Design, build, and support data or insight solutions that help incubate new data capabilities or programs. Example projects: commission forecast modelling, product margin analysis
- Create applications and internal tools that can be used by the broader FP&A and BizOps team to elevate everyone’s game
- Prototype leveraging latest AI technologies incl. Cloudflare Platform, emerging best practices to illustrate what can be possible in how we work
- Work in sprints to achieve critical milestones and update your progress through daily asynchronous updates
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Passionate about solving business problems or challenges using technology
- Are curious, proactive, and self-directed, have a natural drive to explore new technologies and a 'figure it out' mindset
- Can write working code in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language and have shipped something independently or as part of hackathon project, open source contribution, or a previous internship
- Ability to distill complex business or technical requirements into clear actionable insights
- Can explain what you built and why, to a technical or non-technical audience
- Experience using LLM interfaces (such as Gemini) and prompt engineering, paired with a strong interest in the emerging field of AI agents
- Ability to commit to a minimum 12 week summer internship from May to August 2026
- In office 2-3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have used any part of the Cloudflare developer platform: Workers, R2, Pages, or anything similar
