Junior OutSystems Developer at Cloud and Things in Albany, NY

Summary: Cloud and Things is focused on transforming the public sector’s IT environment, and they are seeking a Junior OutSystems Developer. The role involves designing, building, integrating, and testing collaborative web applications to deliver effective business solutions for their NYS client.

Responsibilities:
- Develop solution features following OutSystems development best practices, ensuring solution performance and user adoption
- Develop integrations with external systems according to defined architecture guidelines
- Complete all assigned tasks with quality within the defined timebox
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing and perform necessary bug fixes

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ years of OutSystems development experience
- 1+ years of web application programming experience
- Experience with web application development, process design, and project delivery practices
- Understanding of solution architecture, solution design, and web application performance
- Experience with Agile methodologies and practices
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: PHP, C#, or Java
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Experience programming with SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
- Knowledge of database modeling
- Knowledge of ASP.NET

Preferred Qualifications:
- OutSystems certification
- Strong communication, customer orientation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively as a team player
- Strong quality orientation and attention to detail
